Does God Take Naps?

Kids ask a lot of questions. Some silly and some innocent. Some deep and some serious. The books in the I’ve Got Questions series address many of those childlike questions and offer satisfying answers. The content is lively and fun, yet meaningful and respectful of a child’s inquisitive mind.

While the books have a strong educational component, the deeper purpose is to show parents how they can respond to their child’s questions with patience and love. Illustrations feature multicultural characters both male and female.

Does God Take Naps? answers questions such as

~Does God live in a house?
~Does God have a family?

What Owners Are Saying About This Book!

  1. Fun and Engaging! My 3 year old LOVES this book. He even takes it to bed with him! It blesses my heart to hear him answer the questions as I read them. What a fun way to introduce little ones to theological concepts. So many books attempt to teach theological concepts to young kids and fail miserably because they use abstract ideas. But this book is perfect for little ones because it uses questions a little person would actually ask. I love that the rhymes and ideas fit together, instead of many other rhyming books where you can tell the author had a rhyme word in mind and tried to force the idea to fit the word. Crystal’s rhyming is effortless and kid-friendly.

  2. Love Crystal Bowman’s books! I’m a HUGE fan of Crystal Bowman. Anything she has written for children is sweet and with great illustrations! This is no exception. Love the question and answer format of this book as kids answer questions about God and answers to their pressing questions are given. A fantastic before-bed read for you and your child. Great for ages 2-7!
